For years, one of the biggest challenges facing filmmakers, broadcasters, and independent creatives has been access to funding, much of which is consumed by equipment costs and rentals, often limiting production quality.

Dir. Uchechukwu Okoro
Uchechukwu is the founder and creative lead of Modok Inc., a film academy, production company, and film distribution company based in Nigeria.
He is deeply passionate about the business of creatives art and has spoken at various government and private policy forums, including discussions on Africa’s tax rebate program for film production and the launch of a new screenwriting app designed for African and global creatives-Claperbie.
He serves on multiple creative decision-making boards and continues to champion initiatives and partnerships that support both independent and established creatives.
